The Master of Finance (MFIN) programme offered by the School of Business at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) aims to help entrepreneurs, finance professionals and those in the PMET segment to gain knowledge of financial innovations and technologies, and to support upskilling to meet work challenge posed by advancements in technology and the disruptive changes in applications, processes, products, as well as business models that are transforming financial services industry.
Unique Features of the Programme:
1. We focus on financial technologies and financial innovations. Deviating from traditional finance programmes, we emphasise more on technical know-how, programming skills and hands-on lab training.
2. Our programmes are stackable and thus in line with the nation's emphasis on stackable credentials that facilitate lifelong learning. Students can take the master programme directly, or they can start by a graduate certificate programme, a graduate diploma programme, or even modular courses.
3. Our graduands are exempted from the Chartered FinTech Professional (CFtP) Level 1 exams (https://globalfintechinstitute.org/cftp/), and the master of finance programme prepares them for the CFtP Level 2 exam.
4. We are an integral part of the SUSS Node for Inclusive Fintech (NiFT) and students have access to all the resources at https://www.suss.edu.sg/about-suss/centres/suss-node-for-inclusive-fintech
